Frequently Asked Questions
Are all coins genuine ex currency?
Yes, we only use genuine ex currency coins.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cheques, postal orders, and card payments via PayPal. Cheques must clear before we post any ordered item.
How long can I expect to wait for my order?
Repairs and stone replacements typically take 4 to 5 working days. If an item is in stock we can turn it around in 3 working days. If we have to source an item we will email you with an approximate delivery date.
If I supply my old gold and silver, am I able to have a bespoke item of jewellery made?
Yes, just forward us a rough design or details of what you require and we can work out a price and time scale.
If I send my old gold or silver, will I lose any weight?
Yes. There will be some loss during the melting, filling and polishing process, although we try to keep this to a minimum and return all unused metals.
On arrival, all metals are weighed & tested for quality, and the results are emailed to you.
If I have an old or special coin of my own, are you able to cut it out?
Yes, we do this all the time and think it makes for a very personal item.
I have lost a gem stone out of my ring. Can it be replaced and matched up?
Yes, we will give you an estimate as there will probably additional work involved, such as new claws or beads. We will fully explain what is required.
What happens if I send my jewellery or coins to you and you do not receive it?
We recommend that everything is sent by Royal Mail special delivery so it will be fully insured and signed for on delivery.
We cannot accept responsibility for items we have not received. You will have to contact The Royal Mail with your reference number.
